Ricoh

Ricoh KR-10x

In early Eighties Ricoh made efforts to take a piece of the rising SLR market. Features were equal to the hardest competitors but somehow, perhaps in vain Ricoh cameras got in Finland a reputation of rather unreliable camera. A possible reason is the brand name which in Finnish translates as Break it !
Anyway Ricoh models were a low budget alternative for many amateur photographers. Perhaps the greatest advantage of Ricoh KR-10, as well as other Ricoh Single Lens Reflex cameras is that they use a famous K-mount. Almost any K-mount body will accept any K-mount lens, and will use any features in common to both lens and body.

The camera is attached with PG-4 power grip. It´s a bit slower (1.4 frames /sec.) than the XR-Winder-2 (2 frames/sec.) but it gives a good hold on the camera.
