Olympus Trip 35 (1966)

The Trip 35 can be seen as the full frame 35mm version of the olympus Pen camera. The relation of this Olympus Trip 35 to the hugely popular Pen half frame series which has sold more than 10 million units during its product cycle, is the same manufacturer. Now Olympus Pen cameras are ultimately collectable and high prized in second-hand market. Other master piece of Olympus design include OM series SLR bodies of OM-1, OM-2 and also OM-3 & OM-4 series models, the first compact P&S model - the XA series.

To day Olympus is not confined to making SLR cameras anymore, it has evolved into a respectable specialized electronic imaging manufacturer. This doesn't mean, that Trip would be unsatisfactory in any viewpoint. It is very workable camera in it´s class. Unlike Olympus Pen cameras this handy, Trip takes "full size" ,24x36 negatives and lens is not changeable.
