Zuiko 24mm f/2.8 wideangle

Optically, this retro focus Zuiko 24mm f/2.8 wideangle lens consists of 8 elements in 7 groups design.

I like this lens. It takes sharp and contrasty pictures and is compact and light weight.

Zuiko AUTO-S 50mm f/1.8

Zuiko standard lens which is extremely compact and the most lightweight version among all Zuiko standard lenses.
Optical formulation consists of 6 elements in 5 groups. Its closest focusing distance is 0.45m. This is the latest "Made in Japan" version.

1935 In June, Takachiho Seisaku-sho, forerunner of Olympus Optical Company, makes its first photographic lens, a 75 millimeter f/4.5 modelled after the Carl Zeiss Tessar lens. "Zuiko" was the name chosen by the company for its lenses.

Olympus Zuiko Lenses are famous for they excellent quality , equal to Nikon, Canon, Leica etc. It means, that most of them are really excellent for taking pictures, not only for a nice decoration on the collectors vithrine. (like mostly in my case)

Zuiko AUTO-Zoom 35-70mm f/4

Olympus has released four 35-70mm OM Series zoom lenses. Most renowned is the f/3,6 version.
This f/4 two touch Zuiko is workable for all kinds of general photography. Lens construction consists 7 elements in 7 groups.

Zuiko AUTO-Zoom 35-105mm f/3.5~f/4.5 MACRO Zuiko 35-105

One touch wide/tele - zoom. It has 16 lens elements in 12 groups. Two slightly different versions were made. My lens is the older version.

The lens has excellent handling characteristic and its a great performer.

 

Zuiko MC MACRO 50mm f/3.5

50mm-MacroThe lens is designed for optimum performance at 1/10 magnifications, it gives superb results in general purpose photography at infinity, or for macro subjects as large as 1/2 life-size.

It has five elements in 4 groups straight helicoid focusing provided for aberration correction at close working range (floating elements system) .

This is the first Olympus zoom lens Introduced as early as 1974. Technological advancement in optical design and new optical glass types enabled it possible to design a compact and lightweight lens which was able to deliver high image quality.
